About Catchdle

Catchdle is a browser fishing game built around a short daily visit to a changing pixel-art lake. Each encounter combines a randomly selected fish with a timing challenge: line up the whole fish icon with a moving target to land it. Your best catch competes on the day's leaderboard.

The collection continues across fishing days. Keep favorite catches in an aquarium, sell others for cosmetic gear, or turn ingredients into campfire meals. Daily tides, a lucky fish and seasonal events change what you can discover.

What makes progress count

The server chooses catches, checks timing attempts and saves rewards. Daily limits reset on Eastern Time. Cosmetic equipment changes your angler and scenery without changing fishing odds. Guest play is available; accounts keep a persistent collection and can use an optional recovery email.

The game guide explains attempts, daily resets, collecting and cooking. The fish field guide is generated from the same species definitions used by the game, so values track changes to those rules.
