How to land your first fish

Select Cast, then click the fish while its whole icon is inside the moving green rectangle. Space or Enter also submits an attempt. Each encounter allows three attempts: the first two misses let you retry, while a third miss uses a cast and reels in salvage. A successful catch uses one cast and awards a fish.

A collection that grows each day

Keep fish for your aquarium, sell them for cosmetic gear, or cook them at the campfire to make food bonuses. Your single most valuable catch competes on the daily leaderboard. Casts reset at midnight Eastern Time; the game shows your remaining casts and reset countdown. Today's waters explains the tide and lucky fish, and seasonal events bring limited-time discoveries.
